Balenciaga TechWear brings the sporting ritual into luxury

Balenciaga’s TechWear line combines sports functionality with the house’s wardrobe. Pierpaolo Piccioli introduced it with Fall 2026, Body & Being. Pieces include membrane-backed taffeta tracksuits, leather windbreakers, fitted tops and leggings.

Technology lives in the details

The house describes ultrasonic-welded flat seams and water-repellent closures. In the campaign image shared in the reference, a long dark coat, structured bag and bright trainers form a city look.

The contrast is the interesting part: athletic footwear supports an almost ceremonial silhouette. The looping Balenciaga Bodies graphic connects the line to continuous movement. Comfort is expressed through a recognisable outfit as well as technical specifications.
